That’s right, it’s Tuesday again! More importantly, it is SIXTY DEGREES in BOSTON in FEBRUARY. Cause for celebration? We think so! And while, yes, we would’ve been back on the blog today for another installment of our Meet the Council series regardless of the weather, we still think it’s the perfect way to end an especially lovely day. Just don’t talk to us about how we’re gonna be back in the snow by the end of the week. In fact, never mind that—bring on the latest snake-lady!
To recap, our magazine is edited, designed, published, and promoted by a small group of BC’s undergraduate women each year, and we count ourselves lucky to attract some of the smartest and savviest snake-ladies that Boston College has to offer. Putting together a full publication each semester is a labor of love, and this year we’re turning the spotlight to the group of 13 awesome women who make it possible. Check back over the next few weeks to meet the full council, head here if you missed getting to know Christin last week, and read on right now to meet creative superstar Ji-Won Ha!
Ji is the final of our new recruits to the Medusa Council this year. She’s in her first year of a Political Science and English double major, and splits her free time between such awesome groups as the Screaming Eagles Marching Band and College Democrats of BC. Continuing the feminist love into other areas of her life, Ji also serves as a mentor for BC Strong Women, Strong Girls. If you were as in love with the cover of our Biting Medusa zine as we were, send all your thanks to Ji—she’s the incredible artist behind those luscious lips. Now, a few more fun facts!
