Thank you to everyone who came out to our Cadence and Caffeine event on October 19 at Hillside! Throughout the evening we were serenaded by the BC Common Tones and got to hear from some immensely talented writers, all while heavily caffeinated (courtesy of Fuel America). In other words, the night certainly lived up to its name.

In addition, we were fortunate to have some of our own council members–Taylor, Celia, Bailey, and Claire–display their beautiful command of language and performance. As a whole, it was an excellent space for the sharing of art, song and emotion. The night included some profoundly moving pieces that, considering recent discriminatory events on campus, were all the more impactful and thought-provoking.
If you weren’t able to make it out, or if you were psyched by our first event, be sure to come out to our next one at Fuel America in Brighton on November 16!
